A new roof can turn your home into your dream home! At Specialty Roofing we know that every home has its own unique look and design. Every home should have a roof that suits its theme, color and location; while being durable, long-lasting, and cost effective.
Styles of Roofs We Install:
There are many different types and styles of roofs and we install them all. However, the primary types of roofs are composite roofs (asphalt/fiberglass), concrete tile roofs, clay tile roofs, synthetic shake (wood) and synthetic slate. We specialize in the installation of all of these styles, products and materials.
Composite Roof
Composite roofing is a type of asphalt shingle that can sometimes contain fiberglass on the base layer of the shingle, which can add to its durability and a longer life. Composite shingles perform well in all types of weather and depending on the manufacturer, can last 15+ years in severe, harsh weather conditions. In sunny southern California where the weather is rather stable all year round, the life span of composite roofs can be up to 30+ years. There are a variety of different weights, thicknesses, styles and colors of composite shingles. (See our Supplier Page for more information on the different types).

We install all manufactures of composite roof products on any style of roof. We can also recommend specific manufacturers/suppliers that offer the exact materials you need for your new roof. We can also help you choose the perfect products for your home during our free initial inspection of your home.

Concrete Roof
Concrete Roofs have become more and more popular in the past few years, particularly in the higher income neighborhoods. Concrete tile roofs are extremely durable and can withstand severe weather conditions. Concrete tile roofs, when installed properly, can last 50+ years. Most concrete tile material is warranted by the manufacturer for at least 50 years. They are a bit more expensive than other roofing products; however, the aesthetics of a concrete tile roof can increase the value of your home instantly.

There are a variety of different shapes, styles and colors of concrete products. (See our Supplier Page for more information on the different types).

Clay & Ceramic Tile Roof
Clay and Ceramic Tile Roofs are a style of roof that must fit the theme and style of the home. They are extremely popular on brick buildings, homes that have a “Santa Fe” theme, ocean villa style homes, and certain homes that can pull off a beautiful clay and/or ceramic roof. They are very durable over time, but cannot withstand all types of weather because the clay and/or ceramic can break. However, in southern California these types of roofs are found on thousands of estates in Santa Barbara, Pasadena, Beverly Hills, and many other high scale neighborhoods.

CERAMIC

Synthetic Shake Roof
Synthetic Shake Roofs are designed to look like regular wood shingle roofs, but without the flammability and upkeep of regular wood roofs. Most wood roofs in southern California are cedar wood shingles and they have a very rich and beautiful look; however, the upkeep of a cedar roof is expensive and more often than you might think. If your home’s design was meant for a wood roof with wood shingles, then a synthetic shake roof is most likely the best roof for your home. Synthetic shake shingles are reminiscent of the texture and shape of regular wood shingles and can come if a variety of colors and shingle sizes. As a matter of fact, we can even purchase synthetic shake in brown (wood color), cedar, weathered grey and other various different wood colors. Call an expert at Specialty Roofing and we can walk you through the different variations of synthetic shake roofs today.

REAL CEDAR

Synthetic Slate Roof
Synthetic Slate Roofs are commonly installed on homes that would look fantastic with slate roofs. However, synthetic slate roofing material is lighter so most frames can handle the weight, authentically textured to resemble real slate and only a fraction of the cost compared to real slate. Synthetic Slate comes in various styles, texture and colors. Call Specialty Roofing today and we can help you choose the perfect synthetic slate for your home.
